New BMW 3-series to feature Sirius Satellite Radio

In a move that will surely help increase their subscriber base, Sirius Satellite Radio issued a press release today stating that Sirius will be available as a factory-installed option on the 2006 BMW 3-Series starting in the Summer of 2005.

Available for an MSRP of $595, the factory-installed option includes a one-year pre-paid subscription to the service.

Currently available as a factory-installed option on the 2005 5-Series, 6-Series and 7-Series models; Sirius Satellite Radio is only available as a dealer-installed option on the remaining BMW model lineup.
