We have more info on the Palm-Sized Sirius Satellite Receiver by The Brix Group reported earlier. First off, as you can see we got our hands on a MUCH better picture than from the Press Release. Also, the unit was not supposed to have been released to the press at this time - Sirius wasn't going to officially announce this until CES. I guess Brix jumped the gun a bit on this one.

Either way, the photo gives a good view of the cable jacks and of the size of the unit. Pretty neat, although still not a 'portable' unit like the MyFi.

Sirius should stop trying to build receivers. it cannot match the technology designers of the world. they should only sell subscriptions to their service. a commission/small percentage from each monthly payment should go to each designer for each month the service is used on a each device that they design. Sirius should grant any mobile phone, computer, or other type of company designer/manufacturer free license to make combination phone/satellite receivers, etc. this could create exponential or unlimited growth. right now sirius is shackeled by how fast it can create cutting edge receivers. this is a "land rush". now is the time because technologies like teledesic(Bill Gates new satellite venture) are coming that could wipe out satellite radio.

In the spirit of Satellite Radio, I will not edit or remove any comments unless they are purely promotional. The seven forbidden words are completely acceptable, so go nuts. HTML tags can't be used, but you can simply type an URL (include the http://) to create a live link.
