Terrestrial Radio Battles Over Howard's Satellite Radio Move

Howard Stern turning into a Sirius Satellite Radio commercial?
It's funny how the Terrestrial Radio kiddies are getting all heated up over Howard's move to Sirius Satellite Radio. Citadel Stations in Harrisburg, Grand Rapids, Providence and Syracuse are making cuts to the Howard Stern Show everytime he mentions SIRIUS Satellite Radio - they even go as far as cutting Stern off early at 10 in the morning, done or not.

Apparently, Howie's getting a lil' pissed about it.

The controversy really hit home when Stern lashed out at "shock jock" Ryno after the DJ wrote a letter criticizing Stern's program saying it had become an infomercial for Sirius. Ryno wrote,

"We don't appreciate him talking about satellite radio and we don't appreciate him taking our money to do a show then end up talking about moving to a direct competitor."

Howard Stern's responded:

"I like that Ryno's worried I'm doing an infomercial. He's worried personally it bothers him. I like that the company tapped Ryno to be the company spokesperson. How about Ryno, like a Nazi sympathizer."

Even funnier, Stern proposed revenge on the station's cutting him off at 10 o'clock is a promotion giveaway of $20,000 with listeners needing to tune in at 10:05 in the morning to win.
