Russound Announced ST2-XM2 XM Satellite Radio Tuner

Russound ST2-XM2 Satellite Radio Tuner
Russound announced at CES today a major addition to their ST2 Smart Tuner family. Not to be confused with the ST2-XM (although it's easy to be), the new ST2-XM2 now delivers XM Satellite Radio in a dual tuner format. When used in a Multi-Room system, the convenience, extensive choice of programming and near CD quality sound of XM can now be enjoyed by multiple users from anywhere in the home, all at the touch of a button.

The ST2-XM2 key features are that it has six banks of six presets (allowing different users personal choice), and a multi-user interface that allows more than one person can enjoy their favorite XM stations.

All ST2 tuners use the powerful RNET technology, Russound’s proprietary communications platform that allows Russound smart components to communicate with one another. When used in an RNET system, the ST2 tuners allow for full informational support on the company’s UNO keypads.

View full details and specs here.

The ST2-XM2 will be available in the first quarter of 2005.
