XM Satellite Radio Slams Past 3.2 Million Subscribers

XM Satellite Radio
Yes, it's true (although, I can't really say - surprising), XM announced today at CES that they now have over 3.2 million subscribers, representing more than 1.8 million additional subscribers in the year 2004.

During Q4 of 2004, XM added more than 700,000 customers - their best quarter ever. More than 50,000 subscribers signed up for XM on Christmas Day, the biggest single day of activations in the history of the company. (Gotta say that 50,000 activations in one day is pretty awesome.)

And by year-end 2005, XM expects to have 5.5 Million subscribers - an additional 2.3 Million subscribers than right now.

Who wants to bet that they'll beat that 5.5 Million target?
