XACT Screamer

Word has it that a new unit from XACT is on the horizon titled theXACT Screamer - which obviously seems to be a Plug-and-Play receiver for SIRIUS Satellite Radio. We're trying to find out some more details on this thing, but attempts to get information from XACT have been fruitless. All we have is the photo you see on the right. Note the Sirius Channel card.
This info was grabbed from a trademark search for the word Screamer which provides us with the following tasty tidbit of knowledge:

Satellite radio receivers; Satellite radio receiver kits, namely fully transportable satellite radio receivers that can be used in the vehicle, at home or with portable audio devices, such as a boom boxes
(yeah, great thanks.)
Using complex imaging software (err.. Photoshop), this is the best picture we're able to get for now, but as we get more info in, you'll be the first to know.

It is just a reskined starmate. This unit was the XTR6CK at CES. http://www.itsonsirius.com/ces/xact_booth3.jpg

Found & purchased the XTR7 at the local Target store for $109 on Tuesday, 3-May-05. It is a reskined Starmate/Streamer. However to me, it looks much better. Has 12v DC input on left side, while the headphone & antenna are on the right. Came with a fantastic mounting system. Everything is all black and chrome, with the standard Xact orange and black display with lighted controls. Easy to use & control with riding gloves on... already have it mounted on the Harley. Mounted the radio slide-on-mount to the clutch side with 2 chrome cable ties. I mounted the antenna on the backside of the license plate holder. Looks HD OEM. Just in case you’re wondering, it provides the sound to 2x42w Blaupunkt 4" PCX402 Rumble Roads from MH Instruments.
