XM Receives On-Orbit Handover of XM-3 from Boeing (yawn)

The XM-3 Satellite was successfully handed over on-orbit to XM Satellite Radio from Boeing today. Not necessarily something that makes blood rush into spongy tissue, but news nonetheless in a rather no-news-day.

I do like the ballsy statement said by Dave Ryan, president of Boeing Satellite Systems:
"XM-3 is one of the most powerful satellites ever built."

Ohhh snap!
