Jennifer Betka joins Sirius Satellite Radio as VP Interactive
SIRIUS Satellite Radio has hired Jennifer Betka as the VP of Interactive. Betka, a former top online marketer with Time Warner, AOL and Ogilvy, will be responsible for creating an innovative Internet presence and marketing platform for SIRIUS, including the development and implementation of enhanced programming features and e-business initiatives.
(psst, hey Jennifer… you hiring anyone? wink wink)

Sirius needs a better website.
I really, really, really hope that they do an up-to-date online schedule thing. Lay it out like a TV guide or something like that.
The current way of finding whats on is to go to each of the stations and look at their individual schedules. Why can't they just have one big grid layout listing!!??!??!
And also let us select our timezone!! Come on already.
If it wasn't for orbitcast I would have already missed a few of the cool things on Sirius.

I hear you. To Sirius' credit they've done a great job at keeping me up to date with the latest stuff going on.
I've been doing webdesign for 10 years, and from a technical standpoint, Sirius' website is badass. But from a usability standpoint, it could use some improvement. I think the addition of Jennifer Betka to the team should really make a difference in solidifying the business goals of the site. She's got the skills to make it happen, so we'll see.
