| 94 Comments | No TrackBacks

Howard Stern
SIRIUS Satellite Radio will unleash classic unedited material from Howard Stern's last 20 years on radio starting this weekend.

Chosen from 23,000 hours of tape, these fan favorite moments will include unedited interviews with such memorable guests as Paul McCartney, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Donald Trump, Sen. Alfonse D'Amato, Sylvester Stallone and Sam Kinison.

In addition, bits featuring famed impersonator and past longtime Stern show regular Billy West will air throughout the weekend, as well as classic prank calls, song parodies, live musical performances and much more. The material will be played 100% unedited and censor-free... the way it was meant to be.

The all-request special begins Labor Day Weekend, airing Friday, September 1st at 3pm ET and will run through Monday, September 4th at 12 midnight ET on Howard 100. Simultaneous West Coast broadcasts will also be heard on Howard 101.

WOW, i'm an O&A and XM fanboy but i might get sirius just to listen to uncensored Stern when he was actually good.

hmmm...Howie must be taking September off too.

you haven't herd.hes never comming back again.

Revolution!

tussel pete talk shit about stern til your blue in the face.its gonna be a great weekend .collage football on the T.V. and classic stern on the radio.
awesome.

So this isnt the revolution your saying? I should keep waiting? OK!

Billy west? Stern shit all over billy west and kicked him to the curb, ala jackie style.

Hoo Hoo robin I invented 20 year weekend best ofs

Just relax man, like stern fan said, watch some college football, eat a bunch of food, be lazy and take a huge long shit.

I will enjoy this weekend!

:)

Classic Howard is "coming" all across America.

Classic Howard is "coming" all across America.

Classic Howard is coming all across America

Hmm . . . 23,000 hours? Let's work this out:

365 days a year minus 104 days for weekends = 261 days

Times 4 hours a day of actual show without commericals = 1044 hours a year

Times 20 years = 20,880 hours.

Nice Howie math.

Can't wait.

>> tussel pete talk shit about stern til your blue in the face.>>

Unlike yourself and a host of others, *I* don't 'talk shit' about Stern underneath the articles related to him.

On the other hand, I *will* continue to defend O&A whenever you pop your head into one of their article threads, and I *will* continue to make fun of your awful spelling.

That is all. Hoo Hoo.

EDIT: Of course, I wasn't implying that *you* 'talk shit' about Stern - I just meant I don't take part in 'talking shit' about another radio host that I *don't* happen to listen to, while it doesn't seem to stop you and some other folks.

pete sorry for lumping you with tussel.your a better person than him.

Robin Quivers would do a better radio show by herself.

I always assumed Tussel was just Ramone under a different name. The similarities are striking:

- They're both morons who repeat the same tired shit over and over and over
- They both have a disturbing homosexual obsession with two middle-aged "boys"
- Neither would be missed by anyone here should they die tomorrow. I'll bet whatever they consider mothers wouldn't even notice, either. They'd probably cheer. They'll finally be able to use their basements for storage once they clean the stuccoed O/A posters off the ceilings.

Hate to say it, but I think the evidence is clear: Tussel is clearly Sticker Boy Ramone.

Hi, I'm Pete and *I* use annoying *symbols* every sentence to *prove* my comments are *firm* and the *truth*. *I* am, as everyone on orbitcast, a *hypocrite* that *blabs* on and on about stern *zombies*.

Zeeb Zeeeb Zeeb Zeeb

WF

Neither would be missed by anyone here should they die tomorrow.
And you expect a week of mourning and a presidential funeral if you die tomorrow?

It's called emphasis. Do you speak in complete monotone when you're having a conversation?

Hmm, come to think of it, 'conversation' probably isn't in your repertoire.

"And you expect a week of mourning and a presidential funeral if you die tomorrow?"
yes. I want all flags the world over at half staff and hot, slutty women throwing themselves on my funeral pyre in uncontrollable fits of grief and lust.

So there.

hearing it right now. its awesome no hiss in the background its great.

i don't know what the excitement over old bits is coming from. what about the NEW material? where's the NEW, LIVE stuff that's supposed to be knocking them dead? maybe all of Howard's Fridays off (he's off today, is he not?) and his constant vacations have beaten his listeners into an acceptance that they aren't getting very much NEW material to enjoy, so all they have to fall back on is material from the days he used to care more about entertaining people than stroking his own ego and playing polo in the Hamptons.

tussel found a clip of howard when he was married.
wow.zzzzzzz.

Hey ass monkey, Its unedited, that means full Stuttering John interveiws, full uncut bits, ect...

"Hey ass monkey, Its unedited, that means full Stuttering John interveiws, full uncut bits, ect..."

My point is that in order to have anything close to 23,000 hours of material in his catalog, he would have had to not taken any vacations or even a single weekday off in 20 years. And Howie is notorious for taking lots of vacations. Restoring the tiny edits in the bits and interviews doesn't make up all that time.

Im gonna Join if they add a classic Stern Channel :)

Well the true King of All Media has been on since 6pm friday. That classic Stern makes my two ass clowns, I mean wannabe co-workers here Open and ass look even more like the no-talents they truely are. Lets all think back to that moment when Hugh oh no Panero was stupid enough to pass on signing Howard Stern. That was the beginning of the end of xm. Really shows how poorly the once leader of sat. radio is managed.

Peace out xmelots, time for the HNIC to unleash some woop-ass on Hugh, for signing me to work with a bunch of no-talents, for Hugh's failures to sign Howard Stern the true King of All Media, and for Hugh no resigning NASCAR, Come January the CH CH CH CHURN over to Sirius is going to crush xm.

I thought it was a let down. Where the hell is live Howard anyways.... I resent some dude making 100 million a year and working 3.5 days a week. This is bullshit.

Glen_the_tool, how fitting.

As mad as I am that Howard didn't work this weekend, I thought the show was pretty sick. Even some of the douchebags who "used to like the show" could appreciate it.

Jesus Twins are on right now!!! OMFG!! I have to admit this brings back memories and the jackie laugh is great. Im on the verge of running out and buying a sirius unit. Ive had a free 30 day trial after buying a DELL computer. Damn!! ANother expense. Its odd, listening to them (howard, robin, fred, jackie, even artie) makes me feel like im missing out.

i love the fact that o&a's show is dissing howard and he doesn't aknowlage them, i'm sure that pisses them off, WAH we're a rip off act!

Does anyone know where I can obtain a copy of the homeless brady bunch skit?? i used to have a sound bite of it on my computer years ago and it was hilarious i want to hear it again if anyone knows where i can hear or download it please let me know!!
