Due to popular demand, Sirius is extending its ABBA Radio channel through July 25th, the company said today.The limited engagement channel launched on Sirius on July 7th in celebration of the release of MAMMA MIA! The Movie. The film, released in North America on July 18th, set a record for the strongest debut of a musical, earning an estimated $27.6 million at the box office.
ABBA Radio (ch 3) will continue to feature celebrity fans sharing their favorite ABBA music and personal stories, including stars from MAMMA MIA! The Movie.
The exclusive channel run has also featured guest deejay sessions by Martha Stewart, singer Dionne Warwick, New York Rangers goalie Henrik Lundqvist, Neil Sedaka, songwriter Desmond Child, Randy Jones of The Village People, among many others.

What kind of moron would cancel his/her Sirius subscription because he/she didn't like one channel? I can't stand Howard Stern, but I'm not canceling. Hannity? Hate him. Still not canceling. Catholic channel? Never heard it. NASCAR disgusts me. Yet, I've never complained. There are plenty of choices (that's why they program so many diverse channels)!!!!

I loved this channel while it lasted and agree that people are mentally defected children with mommy issues to even say they would cancel because it is on....because we all know that the complainers listened to Sirius Love so often before! You have to be gay to love Abba? Go tell that to someone like Henry Rollins, who praised Abba because they write and produce great tracks. It was made up of two married couples (and after the guys split with the girls, they remarried and had children with their new wives). It so dumb to be threatened by good music and to call it gay....like a child.
One hit wonders? They have had over a dozen huge signature hits (and if you're from Europe, probably closer to 25-30) but if you got your head up your ass, yeah, maybe you've only heard 'Dancing Queen"!
