AirTran Giving Away Free XM Vouchers
AirTran Airways is kicking off a new promotion by giving away a voucher for a free XM RoadyXT Satellite Radio to every single AirTran passenger - all in appreciate for their business.
The vouchers for the free RoadyXT radios will begin on flights starting today, and continue throughout the holiday season (or until Flight Attendants have given them all away).
They'll be handed out to passengers along with XM Satellite Radio headsets, and will include details on how to get the free radio on their doorstep in time to brighten up their holidays. Ho ho ho.

And XM fanboys say they count unsold cars in lots as subscribers. Any difference?

Its a big difference. This is a piece of paper that allows the holder to obtain a free roady if he or she chooses to do so. Once the coupon is traded in, the radio is activated and the owner pays a subscription fee as a subscriber. the pieces of paper alone arent counted as subs.

probably the only way XM will make guidance (although they have lowered twice, so maybe). I imagine the 6 month free subscription with the Roady will be next.

realwx and MarkS.
Yes there is a difference. The unsold cars count as subs because get this they ARE. Sirius is still receiving revenue from those unsold cars.
