Country music star Alan Jackson will be taking over Sirius Satellite Radio's Prime Country channel - effectively renaming the channel to "Alan Jackson Good Time Radio" - albeit temporarily.
The 5-day feature will include a preview of the 17 songs on his new album, appropriately entitled Good Time, which is due to be released on March 4th.
Alan Jackson is the definitive "country music star" - amassing numerous awards over his 18-year career. Jackson received a Grammy for "Best Country Song" (for "Where Were You (When The World Stopped Turning)"), is a 3-time CMA Entertainer of the Year, not to mention the thirty-one #1 singles.
"Alan Jackson Good Time Radio" will premiere this Friday, February 29th at 5pm ET and run through Tuesday, March 4th on Sirius channel 61.

let me start by saying i am a huge fan of yours and have seen you five times once at hunter mt. ny. when you first started out and you signed my jeans still have those wrapped in cling wrap then in allentown pa then in wilkes barre pa i guess that is it but the last time i saw you totaly disapointed it was at wilkes barre pa i had bad seats at 69.00 a pop that my daughters paid for for me for mothers day then i was told i could go up to the stage area and take a picture and then got told by security to go sit down then i was told that you said everyone could stand during your concert thats what the security told me from there so me and my daughters got to peoples behinds all night we couldnt even see on the side screens but i think the most disapointing thing for me was no autograph i know that your really a big star but i can not afford to be paying to be in your fan club as well and i was told that was the only way to get to get a autograph now i am also the one that crocheted you that flag afghan that i gave to you at montauge mt in pa that was the fifth place i saw you i won those tickets by playing a song of yours on my pants zipper and the radio station had to guess it i am on a limted income but still try to buy all your cds but like i said that last concert was really sad thank you for listening doris carey
