(...and speaking of outages)

...it looks like Orbitcast has a bit of an outage of its own.

Somewhere amid the madness this afternoon, my server thought it was under attack "from a hacker" and it shut itself down. And much like a crazy ex-girlfriend, it didn't let me back in (in technical terms, the system set permissions to 0 and then crawled in the corner to suck its thumb).

After much screaming, and a swift kick to its liver, we've managed to get Orbitcast back up and running after a little over an hour of downtime.

UPDATE: Ok, still a few issues here and there, but should be back up this evening.

UPDATE 2: Everything should be working now. Let there be much rejoicing.

Glad your back!

*whew!* I was wonder who was gonna come back first, XM or Orbitcast...I guess I won our office pool!! Whoo-hoo!

XM goes down. Orbitcast goes down. Coincidence? I think not! Ryan was on the grassy knoll.

I heard the FCC hired hackers from Russia with illegal funds to take orbitcast down...

sternfan73: Shoot me an email. ryans@orbitcast.com

Sternfan73: You're not cool. Stern is a douchebag, and you are a mindless scourge on society that will never amount to anything.

Furthermore, you're not wanted here. Please get cancer.
