The Wilkow Majority
Sirius' popular conservative talker Andrew Wilkow and his show, "The Wilkow Majority," will be debuting on XM Satellite Radio's America Right channel, starting this Wednesday.

For his debut, Andrew Wilkow will welcome guests from the conservative movement including Republican National Committee chairman Mike Duncan; the former Lieutenant Governor of Maryland and candidate for the RNC chairmanship Michael Steele; former House Majority leader Tom DeLay; North Carolina Congressman Patrick McHenry; President of American Values Gary L. Bauer; and former Secretary of Education and host of "Bill Bennett's Morning in America" on Sirius XM Radio, Bill Bennett.

Andrew Wilkow's show "The Wilkow Majority" airs daily on Sirius Patriot (ch 144) and will now air on XM's America Right (channel 166), starting on Wednesday, January 14th at 12pm ET.

More info please. What time slot? Who is he replacing?

Andrew Wilkow is going on the 12pm timeslot, which means he'll probably be replacing Laura Ingraham on America Right (unless they move Laura Ingraham to another slot).

I'm assuming this is going to lead to another programming merge of the talk channels.....any word on all of the other Sirius in-house shows on Sirius Left, Patriot, OutQ, ect?

Apparently Laura's being moved to 9 AM-Noon, replacing G Gordon Liddy and the 2nd WSJ show.

Wait.... Laura is being replaced by this douche??? What the frak?!?

Thank god! I'm hoping Mike Church will also be on America Right. Sirius can't program a music channel if there life depended on it but they are excellent at political talk programming.

I love the move. Hopefully there will be a replay later in the day.

Laura Ingraham moves to 9 am removing an hour of The Wall Street Journal and G Gorden Liddy's program.

I'm surprised that the merge of all the Sirius and XM talk stations hasn't happened already. I'd look for complete merges of similar channels like XM Right/Sirius Patriot, XM Left/Sirius Left, Open Road/Road Dog Trucking, Reach MD/Doctor Radio, Family Radio/Family Net, The Agenda/Sirius OutQ, and I'd look for XM exclusive The Power to come to Sirius.

XM already had four comedy channels before the addition of Blue Collar Radio and the Foxxhole, so I see National Lampoon Radio and Laugh Attack going away and Raw Dog and Laugh USA remaining. Ultimately I believe that Howard 101 and The Virus will become one channel, probably still called Howard 101 (as long as he's still with Sirius XM anyway). O&A and Ron and Fez won't get fired, but they may be working some different shifts.

I'd like to see the XM channels America's Talk, WLW, Extreme Talk, and Talk Radio also be available on Sirius...but these are Clear Channel-owned and programmed channels and it doesn't seem like it will ever happen.

Also, it doesn't seem like it would be all that difficult to just assign the same numbers to all the Sirius and XM channels. It would save a ton of time in promos and end a lot of confusion. I would look for a major re-alignment by mid-year on these...

Andrew Wilkow is a B**CH. I can’t stand this guy. I do listen to Mike Church and hopefully XMers will have access to his show from 9 to 12. It's soo much better then that joke Wilkow

Hey Rob
Obviously you do not listen to the wilkow show, this guy is the least person likely to be a bitch and one of the last true patriotic americans on the radio. You on the other hand came from a bitch and are a little c*nt.

Hey Wayne.

He is not the last true patriotic American. He has the same rightwing pretend I’m for limited government acts such as Shawn Hannity. I am a true Patriotic American (also a Republican) and I’m sure you are too. These voices are not. I listen to Mike Church he’s voice is more of a Republican/Libertarian Patriot. But sometimes he too is on the verge of becoming like a Hannity. Remember they are all actors/personalities such as Howard Stern. Wilkow would sell his soul for a show on Fox News with all his pro-war, fake Republican friends. But they probably would not offer him the gig because of his whinny and annoying voice.

PS Reading maybe help you form your own opinions making it easier to see through such acts as Wilkow. (I'm not saying that to be rude or suggest you do not.)

"I see National Lampoon Radio and Laugh Attack going away"

Nope. NatLamp is part of the Clear Channel suite of stations over which SXM has no control, while Laugh Attack exists to enable XM Canada to carry ten more stations; axing LA forces nine other XMCA channels to shutter (which ain't gonna happen).

"Sirius' popular conservative talker Andrew Wilkow"

Popular? Maybe with the tiny fragment of the NA population who've ever heard of him, never mind the even smaller subset who listen regularly. I'd wager that even the likes of Roy Masters has a larger and more devoted following than this guy.

For this I lose the Laura Ingraham TD?

Wilkow is VERY well-known and respected in Conservative radio...he's sat in for the "big boys" on so-called terrestrial radio many times while they were away. Though he's not to my taste, he's a rising star in talk radio and will be huge in syndication when this satellite thing goes away...

Rob
I am going to end this debate by saying one you are correct maybe I should read a little more but I do not have to read about a man I have known personally for 20 + years. Wilkow has had the same conservative views since he was a junior in High School and has never sold out or been swayed by anyone and I would bet he will not ever.
Wilkow 12-3 XM 166 Sirius 144

while I share most views with wilkow, his annoying voice and arrogant on-air personality will be what keeps me away from his show. I left sirius to go back to xm so I could get Glenn Beck again. I enjoyed catching morning news on WSJ and now I have to have my coffee with Bill Bennett, why, because I need the caffine to STAY AWAKE for that show. I like bennett, but......snoooooooooze.

You Wilkow haters are missin g a litle something called "rational thought."

You can say his "views" are fake all you want. That doesn't change the fact that myself and all of his other fans AGREE WITH THEM!

His critics are right that many will hate him. These days adults DO hate responsibility and rationale free of coddling and pretending that "fairness" is real.

You don't like it when someone calls a spade a spade, huh?

If not, you'll hate Andrew.

However, if you've been taught and expected to fulfill responsibility, go the extra mile and realize that it's not "extra" if you can get it done, do more today than yesterday, and take care of yourself and let the benefits to others flow from it, then Andrew's your man!

You can tell a lot about a person by his or her response to Wilkow.

(Here's a hint: If they don't like him, you can't afford to be associated with them.) ;)

I actually enjoy listening to him on andrewwilkow.net
