Artie Lange returns to Stern show
After taking a week off and cooling down following his resignation from the show, Artie Lange returned to the air this morning assuming his position as one of the cohorts on The Howard Stern Show. The question on many Stern fans minds for the past week was answered immediately at the beginning of today's show. Artie apologized for the incident and expressed his amazement in the response from fans and members of the show.
There's still no official word on whether or not there will be disciplinary action taken, though it was said that Artie will not have anymore chances following this incident.
Looks like Chaunce Hayden and his source, which "has never been wrong" was indeed, wrong.

Just another bit...just like those fake callers. LAME.

I kind of wondered if it was orchestrated like a cliff hanger of sorts. Frankly I think they should actually fire his fat ass and be done with it. I like him, he's occasionally funny but sweet jebus I'm sick of it.

Wow, who saw this coming?

Cramer, Richard Simmons, and Howard Stern have much in common. Old, Jewish, circus performers hell bent for ratings.
It must be Genetic.

If you take these words and paste them in 5 differnt places on the www your wishes will come true! Kevin Martin quit making a mockery of our great nation; you should make a decision and quit shaming our country.

Just another bit that got virtually no mainstream media coverage (all Stern really wanted). Sorry old lady, but you lose again. Just retire already.
Posted by: Anonymous Coward | April 21, 2008 11:24 AM
By no media coverage you mean it only being coverd in/on:
New York Post
New York Magazine
Philadelphia Inquirer
Newsday
National Ledger
Chicago Sun-Times
TMZ
Fox News
CNN
FMQB
... plus others.
Try again, pest.

Just another scam in his arsenal of fake phone calls, electriceelman bits, and hypocracy. Who-who indeed.

Why doesn't he just retire. This bit was old, unoriginal, boooooring!! Listening to the utube clips of the show, after the stern family wouldn't re-air it, u knew the chubby monkey was coming back. This, like the bob levy slap of danny b., reaked of "months of preparation". I love the show, but it's obvious the core audience is being alienated by these blatant acts of dishonesty. Stern needs to have a funeral for his own show....And what's up with everybody kowtowing to horse face Beth. They treat her as if she's a legitimate Queen. Find some other rich guy to glum onto.

and don't forget O&A... they need to show what Howie is doing, because they will be working with (for) him shortly...

"and don't forget O&A... they need to show what Howie is doing, because they will be working with (for) him shortly..."
..or they're concerned about Artie who's actually a decent guy and is on good terms with Jim Norton and O&A. Douche.

i agree,he needs to do edgy cringe radio like rawk scream thursday and make up stuff tuesday!
O&A always win in the end!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Posted by: yimmy | April 21, 2008 1:16 PM
What does this say about us when we give a crap about this piece of turd? It was staged. Howard and his gaggle of salad tossers are a waste of time.
Posted by: Anonymous Coward | April 21, 2008 1:18 PM
"...is on good terms with Jim Norton and O&A."
Correction: Good terms with Jim Norton...Artie has bashed O&A.
This was no bit.

After the lawyers came into play, contracts that would cause lawsuits....money money money.....
so you knew he was coming back
fake no. overblown YES
Posted by: PNess | April 21, 2008 1:24 PM
It was entertaining as hell, glad he's back.
The week off is kinda misleading. They were on vacation. So he didn't take a week to cool off, he was already off.
How pathetic was is that O&A played the clips and now the pest are saying it received no media coverage? Such delusional fans. Wadle doodle you toolsbags.
Posted by: Anonymous Coward | April 21, 2008 1:42 PM

artie wouldn't be apart of a 'bit' like that. And he's bashed o&a on air many times. most notably for me was when he said he got douche chills when they were on letterman, and how they didnt get any laughs till Dave brought up Howard..which is true, btw.
i bet opie shops at bloomies. what a hack.
Posted by: whodis | April 21, 2008 1:54 PM
Man. This is getting DEPRESSING.
Not the Artie news....but that NOTHING is happening with the merger. No news at all. Things are quiet at both Orbitcast AND SiriusBuzz.
Nothing on Yahoo news. Nor CNBC.
Cramer is back from vacation...hopefully he'll inject some excitement into things. :-)

Hey Plowboy...
Keep up the anti-Semitic rants... I bet you still believe we make matzah out of little goyish childrens blood.. Fucktard.

A fake firing before a two week vacation.
At least Howard is original.

0.0,
It was only a week, nice try tool.
Enjoy the watered down terrestrial O&A shows for another year. Talk about screwing over your XM listeners. Inexcusable.

Artie stopped being funny a LONG time ago. Heroin addicts just aren't funny no matter what they do. I still wonder how he manages to stay so fucking fat with all the dancing with Mr.Brownstone he does! Anyways, it's long past time to bring Jackie back! WE ALL KNOW THAT'S TRUE! Admit it! F Artie! F Artie F ARTIE!

3 ladies in the obsertritions waiting room:
1st one says, im going to have a boy because I was on to when we did it
2nd one goes, im going to have a girl because I was on the bottom when we did it
3rd one says f*** im going to have a puppy!
See? Jackie RULES! Even his worst joke is funnier than ANYTHING fatboy has come up with! True that!

Just another attempt by a heroin attack looking for attention - and his ring master providing it for all the lemmings!
