Here is Part 2 of audio from the BTLS suicide caller. Read the full story about the incident here.

Again, please note that this audio contains explicit language and may be considered disturbing to some.

(Playtime is approx. 20 minutes)

As was brought up in Part one of the audio, this has happened before to Bubba in mid-90s when he was a DJ on WFLZ/Tampa.

On a personal note, this audio is pretty f'ing intense and the "protection" doesn't help but to make it even freakier.

HOLY CRAP THAT WAS THE MOST INTENSE SHIT I HAVE EVER HEARD!

Wow...Just WOW...amazing..The guys obviously on something because of the way he sounds etc. Thanks for a despressing start to my weekend Mr. Orbitcast!

Wow great FAKE radio. Bubba still sucks

As stated by orbitcast, this has been confirmed. Police traced this call, showed up at that house and found the dude drunk with a gun.

Fuck off haters............Bubba deserves all the respect, he's a good hearted guy in every way

Fake radio?

Like, oh let's see... hiring someone to pose as a Stern fan so he can "attack" you during your lame "walk over"?

Unlike the douches, Bubba doesn't have to manufacture his relevance.

He doesn't have to manufacture his relevance because he has none, never had and never will. He's a complete fat hack.

Well, dear pfreak, apparently he DOES have relevance - since he's got a popular show on SIrius and Ryan saw fit to post three items about this specific incident.

Poor 0.0 fans... no straw too small to grasp...

Uh, yeah, right.

As stated by orbitcast, this has been confirmed. Police traced this call, showed up at that house and found the dude drunk with a gun.

show me a news article. you want me to believe this really happened? a man was going to kill himself on national radio, and the police were called. dont' you think the news would want to pick up on this? maybe..interview bubba? the news eats this stuff up.

and since orbitcast says it, it's right, right? this BLOG is like the enquirer.

proves one thing tho...bubba sucks so bad even his listeners want to kill themselves

I have received confirmation from the Charlotte County Sheriff's Office. This was in fact legit.

My post here.

Bubba the Love Sponge, who began his career as a Tampa Bay radio personality, took a call on his Sirius Satellite Radio show last Wednesday from a caller threatening suicide.

The man told Bubba (real name, Todd Clem) that he was calling from Charlotte County and was going to kill himself with a gun.

According to Bob Carpenter of the Charlotte County Sheriff's Office, Bubba and two other DJs managed to keep the suicidal man talking for 40 minutes while an engineer with the nationally distributed show contacted the phone company to trace the call.

The call came from a 239 phone exchange and it was determined the man lived in the South Punta Gorda Heights area.

A deputy sent to the home took the man to the Crisis Stabilization Unit, according to Carpenter. The man was held under Florida's Baker Act, which allows those dangerous to themselves or others to be restrained.

Carpenter added that the incident has drawn national attention and media have been contacting the sheriff's office wanting to verify if the incident was true or a hoax.

Perfect example of how no one gives a fuck about Bubba or his show. Remember years ago when the same thing happened to Howard? This is back when people gave a fuck about him and his show & he had the same thing happen. It was huge, national news. The fact that this has barely made the news at all just shows that Bubba is completely irrelevant and nothing he does is newsworthy.

Plus he's a big fat person.

The National Library of Medicine (NLM) has launched a new site which can help health care providers and the general public to gain information about a wide vairiety of drugs. Called Drug Info Portal, the web site is a composite access platform, or portal. Over 15,000 drugs can be searched via DIP. The interface is very simple, and the user only needs to enter a drug name in order to start the process. Information has been compiled from a variety of sources, such as the NLM databases MEDLINEplus and LactMed. ...
