always good to compare afternoon shows vs morning shows. also good to compare folks who are on 300+ stations in the afternoon because there is nothing else on...
sure they have more listeners...hell there is at least 7+ that had more....but not a single one of them was morning radio......
also audience wise i would say stern was never even ever near rush, dr laura, etc.....but in terms of ratings/audience/revenue he would blow away all of the ones in front of him by a mile being on the morning instead of the much cheaper, less money making afternoon.
of course this is my opinion.....not stated fact....but i sure would put stern up against rush in the morning on any station they were on
