An army will only follow it leader. I don't recall Bubba ever issuing a call-to-arms for help in his contract negotiations. As he has said many times, "everybody makes their own deal". Mel Karmazin needed to cut costs. That's what CEOs do. Bubba wound up with $400K if he was lucky. The NUMBER 2 most listened guy on satrad deserves more than this. So, Bubba at half-power is better than no Bubba at all.
There was another way. Howard should have stepped up and diverted 1% of his $100 Million salary to Bubba/crew. He would have gotten it back from the stock bump. But his massive ego would never allow that.
While all this posting and attention to "Bubba the whatever" is going on, "Kilroy" on XM channel 13(Willie's Place) was dismissed without so much as a thank you or chance to say good bye to his LARGE audience. Arbitron data shows that XM channel 13 was one of the highest rated channels on Sat Rad. Another website reports that he was informed that they couldn't afford his contract anymore.
My point is... Spending money for a waste of human flesh like "Bubba",O & A, & Stern while dismissing knowledgeable people and programming worth a s**t. is beyond comprehension.

The only logical conclusion is that the above mentioned programs have NO MERIT whatsoever and should be considered AFTERBIRTH to anything associated with them (including listeners and fans).
