Ted Koppel to join Sirius?

((( Speculation Alert! )))
So Ted Koppel is finally leaving "Nightline" and sat down for an interview with the New York Times to be published on Sunday. We get a preview of the interview in which he talks about traditional media's challenges, interviews with big shots and, of course, his bad hair.
When asked what's next for Koppel, he refers to Howard Stern's contract with Sirius and specifically says, "it does open all kinds of new possibilities."
It could be a harmless referral to the changing face of the media, but it's also a pretty strong reference to Ted Koppel's plans for his own future without outright saying it. Either way, it's definitely an eyebrow raising comment.
