Sirius to Air College Football Bowl Games and Championships

SIRIUS Satellite Radio today announced it will broadcast 12 college football bowl games including the Rose Bowl, Fiesta Bowl, Sugar Bowl and the Orange Bowl between No. 1 USC and No. 2 Oklahoma that will determine the national championship. Beginning on Monday, December 27 with the MPC Computers Bowl, SIRIUS College Sports Radio will be the destination for college football fans during the holiday season.

SIRIUS College Sports Radio is the only national source for seven bowl games. The bowl lineup complements SIRIUS' current college sports programming which includes college football and basketball for the nation's top programs.

Steve Cohen Named Sirius VP of Sports Programming

SIRIUS Satellite Radio today announced that it has promoted radio industry and NFL media veteran Steve Cohen to Vice President of Sports Programming.

While at Sirius, Cohen has developed and launched Sirius NFL Radio, the first-ever 24/7 radio channel dedicated to all things NFL, and has been instrumental in the introduction of Sirius College Sports Radio.

In his new position, Cohen will oversee the entire sports department and be responsible for new sports programming initiatives.
