Sirius Satellite Radio Broadcasting Spanish Language NFL Games

?Mira! Sirius Satellite Radio just announced they'll be airing Spanish-language broadcasts of NFL games for the 2005-06 NFL season, including Monday Night Football, the playoffs and the Super Bowl. SIRIUS will carry NFL Futbol Americano, CBS Radio Sports/Westwood One's Spanish language package of NFL games.

The 31-game broadcast schedule includes the 2005 season opener on Thursday, September 8th, all Monday Night Football games, Thanksgiving Day games, the NFL Playoffs, the AFC and NFC Championships and Super Bowl XL on February 5th, 2006. Included in this year's schedule is the special October 2nd, Sunday night game that will be played at Estadio Azteca in Mexico City where the San Francisco 49ers will meet the Arizona Cardinals in the first regular season game in league history played outside the United States.

The Spanish language broadcasts -- which feature commentators Armando Quintero, Benny Ricardo and Clemson Smith Muniz -- will air on (channel 181).
