Pioneer XM2go Portable Satellite Radio
The Pioneer XM2go satellite radio is a portable, hand-held unit for listening and recording/time-shifting XM Satellite Radio's 130-plus digital radio channels virtually anywhere.

This, and the Tao XM2go, are part of the expanding line-up of XM's new XM2go Portable Handhelds set arrive at retail stores in spring 2005.

All the units in the XM2go product line have two listening modes: a live mode and a memory mode for storing and playing back XM programming. The live mode enables users to listen live to XM's content. The time-shifting memory mode (called "My XM") allows users to store five hours or more of content with the press of a button, even when the unit is not in use.

The new Tao XM2go personal, portable satellite radio for XM Satellite Radio was just announced today. The Tao XM2go (www.taolife.com) is perfect for active lifestyle listener, whether jogging, mountain climbing, or taking down wild bore in the desert, the Tao XM2go is great for someone on-the-go. It not only allows you listen to XM satellite radio anywhere, but it also lets you record up to 5 hours worth of music.

This unit, like the Pioneer XM2go unit, is part of the XM2go product line. All XM2go units sport live portable satellite radio listening, as well as recording/time-shifting capabilities. The difference between the units currently seem to be mostly form-factor changes.
