Dell DJ Satellite a goner?

Looks like the Dell DJ Satellite may be vaporware despite earlier rumors, as Dell just recently announced that they will stop selling hard-drive based MP3 players.
"We saw an opportunity to streamline and consolidate our portfolio," Dell spokesman Liem Nguyen said. "We made a decision to transition from the hard-drive products to flash players at the beginning of this year."
Well at the very least, we know that a hard-drive based Dell DJ Satellite is toast. Will Dell go the flash-based route like the Samsung Nexus? I'm not putting any money on it, but it could be a possibility.
