SIRIUS Satellite Radio will broadcast the 39th annual Country Music Awards (CMAs) being held in NYC for the first time this Tuesday, November 15th (UPDATE: I misread the press release, this entry has been updated to reflect the actual announcement).

SIRIUS will take listeners right into the backstage area of Madison Square Garden during the CMAs for exclusive artist interviews on Tuesday night, starting at 6 pm ET on channel 60, New Country. 

As part of the celebration of the Country Takes New York celebration of the CMAs taking place in New York, the legendary Grand Ole Opry will be broadcast from New York City's Carnegie Hall on Monday, November 14th. This special event, which also marks the Grand Ole Opry's 80th anniversary, will be broadcast on SIRIUS (which broadcasts every Grand Ole Opry concert) on its WSM / Grand Ole Opry channel, live at 8 pm ET.
