We already know all about the upcoming Audiovox XM2go handheld XM satellite radio receiver, but here's some shots of the device from CES. The black skin actually looks really cool.

One more shot of the Audiovox XM2go docked within the Belkin Portable Audio System, after the jump...

(I assume the Audiovox XM2go is docked within this Belkin boombox using the upcoming Audiovox XMPA1 Adapter Plate.)

The Audiovox XM2Go unit looks nice, but the real interest for me is the adaptor plate. As is shown on Froogle, http://froogle.google.com/froogle?q=Audiovox+XMPA1&hl=en&lr=lang_en&lmode=online&scoring=p a lot of online stores are going to carry it, but no one seems to have a date of release.

According to one XM fan site, the end of this month.

Ryan great work. Has either company mentioned HM or imoroved sound quality at CES for this year.

Ya, great. I love when one company brings out a product, and then another company brings out almost the exact same product a year later with a different skin. I know that it will have increased memory and probably a longer battery life but if you already have an Inno and are happy with it, does this model matter? I think the compaines should be developing portable XM2GO's that are cheaper in price than $200. You could get an Inno for $139 used on Amazon, but some people don't want to buy used products. This is basically the reason I got rid of an Ipod and got an Inno. Apple stopping innovating their main line of products and instead wants us to buy a $500 phone, and for what? Is the coverage of Cingular going to magically get better with it?

Jim,

It doesn't have 100 hours, still just 50. The "100" is just a deceiving model number.

Why give it a model # of 100 then?

There's something I'm not getting here: Belkin makes the boombox. But Audiovox makes the adapter that fits their own XM2Go, as well as Pioneer's and Samsung's????

What you're not getting is that XM made all three devices: the Helix, the INNO, and the XM2Go. Only the faceplate is different.
