As I understand it, this vehicle was put together in a 6-week period. The goal is simple, create a single vehicle that can be a mobile showplace for Sirius' products. It's got literally everything in this car: Sirius Travel Link, Sirius Backseat TV (6 monitors worth - all displaying a separate live video channel), an Alpine headunit, Stiletto 2, a collection of plug-and-plays in the back, etc.

And there's only one antenna. It's functional, yet an extremely clean install. And very impressive.
More photos after the jump...

What the photos don't show very well... both of the rear windows have three video screens EACH displaying Sirius Backseat TV. I didn't notice each of the 6 screens was on a different channel, but regardless, it's definitely an impressive display of their current offerings in one vehicle!
6 video and that is without using XM bandwith. Think about it.

Did anyone check to see whether there was a hardwired connection? This isn't beyond the realm of possibility as to something SIRI would do.
how is it receiving signal indoors?
There are only 3 video channels- the car has 6 screens, 3 on each side. Each side shows the 3 channels (Nick, Disney and Cartoon Network)
Cool car - great install!
It's interesting that they chose an older MINI to do this to, but I can understand why. The radios in the new MINIs are integrated with the speedometer, which makes them slightly harder to change. That's also a pretty crappy location they chose for the GPS, but I realize this car is only for show. Overall, very nice display. If only they could put that much effort in improving their music stations.

Terrestrial repeater.
Wow, its as if Sirius wants to succeed. Can't wait for XM's answer at CES, should be good.
What is the Stilleto doing in there? Is that hooked up to the headunit acting as a tuner? If so why havent they said when they are going to ship it?!?
Sirius always has eye-catching displays and booths. Kudos Sirius!
