The SC-C1 SiriusConnect Vehicle Tuner is a compact component that can seamlessy integrate with any Sirius-Ready or SAT Radio Ready headunit when combined with a specialty SiriusConnect interface bus translator.
Features include:

It will be good to see if these are plagued by the same problems the early first gen units had, namely not working at all.

I hope this is the replacement for a lot of the current SiriusConnect units (ie Kenwood) that do not get the cancon channels and any future channels.

I don't see Sirius ever making an interface for Honda-- it's my hunch that it's too integrated, and they change it too often to do it reliably. For example, in my Honda, the XM is fully voice controlled in the same system that handles the GPS, the A/C, etc... and while the XM tuner is technically an add on, it just seems to be different every model year.
Just a hunch, though. After all, we saw how reliable the GM one was/is and GM hasn't changed the XM tuner since it came out...

Mike, what are you talking about? Sirius had an issue with the Sony protocol, thats it. there has been no problems with Alpine, Pioneer, Kenwood, GM, JVC, Eclipse, or Panasonic. Unlike the XM direct connects, most of the Sirius Connects still allow for Ipod or CdChanger integration, and they work!
XM is the DSR company that has had many reliabilty issues with after market head units.
XZI, GM has changed their radios. From GM databus 2 to the most recent Lan radios. Honestly bro, do you know anything about DSR or OEM? You continue to make an idiot out of yourself with every post you leave!
As far as your beliefs that Sirius will not have a Honda/Acura tuner, stay tuned. Your comments here will again prove how clueless you really are very soon!

I was referring to the Sony model connect, and yeah i know that all the other brands worked perfect, but why didn't Sony models? It left a bad taste in my mouth.
Of course, I will probably pony up for the new model and test it out.
