Duke University headcoach Mike Krzyzewski (Coach "K") and his mentor, Texas Tech’s Bobby Knight, will sit down for an in-depth discussion on XM Sports Nation (ch 144) this Wednesday, January 24th.
The two Basketball Hall of Famers, who both hold six NCAA college basketball championships between the two of them, will talk about the game and the lessons passed from teacher to student on Krzyzewski’s XM show "Basketball and Beyond with Coach K."
Knight coached Krzyzewski at West Point, and Knight hired Krzyzewski as an assistant at Indiana.
The first part of Coach K’s show airs this Wednesday on XMSN at 2pm ET, and the second segment will air next Wednesday, January 31st (also at 2pm ET). Encores will play at 7pm and 11pm ET, with additional times on Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday.

Does any body actually listen to Coach K? I hate that new XMSN 144. If you thought terrestial radio sucked you should turn on 60/20 sports and then you will throw up!
I've been reading rumors that Tony Kornheiser is coming back to DC radio in the near future. If XMSN doesn't carry Korny then it's absolutely worthless. Especially considering that it was probably Carville's phone-ins to Kornheiser's show that got him the break he's exploiting now.
Why do you hate one of the greatest coaches of all time -- jealous that your team doesn't have him? He doesn't cheat -- recruits great kids first and players second. I bet the people posting these crappy comments are sorry NBA fans or you probaby root for teams that cheat and don't play hard. Duke is kicking your a**es this year with one junior, two sophomores and the rest freshman. See you in the tourney fellas!
As a University of Michigan guy I have a lot of respect for Duke University, but don't really care much one way or another about them ... However, Coach K. is an outstanding coach and a fine American ... He comes from an honest humble background, worked hard and has gained a substantial amount of success in his career and in his personal life ... He's a good man who has given back a great deal ... It's not at all surprising that he is funding and organizing this program to benefit West Point Cadets and in turn all of us, as they will go on to serve as officers in the US Army ... Thick and thin, Coach K has always remained loyal to his family, his friends and his own school.
