CSR pledges $100k to help Canadian music artists
Canadian Satellite Radio (CSR) is pledging $100,000 to help Quebec artists Les Trois Accords and Stefie Shock break into the international music scene - part of the CRTC conditions laid out to allow broadcasting of satellite radio in Canada.
CSR said it plans to invest $35 million to support the growth of the Canadian music and entertainment industry. They also plan to be up and running with its satellite-delivered subscription radio service by the end of the year.
