If Stern doesn't need the $500 million contract, why did he take the money? If he is still spending 90's money or even CBS money why did he take $100 million a year? I guess he didn't have the company he so dearly loves in mind when he signed on the dotted line. The stock does suffer to a degree because Sirius a company that has yet to have a year in the black and is over spending on talent. The truth is, no company should be paying ANYONE $100 million a year (yeah I know it's not all in cash) if they're not turning a profit. Sirius ran scared because they were afraid XM would sign Stern, they over paid and now the stockholders and their own employees are suffering the consequences. There's no way to spin $3 stock prices... granted both XM and Sirius stocks have dropped over the years but $3 is pathetic. It's not a smart move on Sterns part to release information on his massive house while there are people working to keep "HIS" company afloat. Pretty ego driven if you ask me.
