Well this is interesting. Not long after Polk Audio began shipping their XM-capable I-Sonic entertainment system, Directed Electronics announced that they've gone into a definitive agreement to acquire Polk Audio. Directed is a key distributor for SIRIUS Satellite Radio. So here lies a curious conumdrum. Will Polk now drop it's XM support? Or will Directed take on a dual-service approach?
