Renowned psychosexual therapist, Dr. Ruth Westheimer, is bringing her wit and wisdom to Sirius for a special edition of Doctor Radio's weekly sexual health show, starting today.Harold S. Koplewicz, M.D., founder and director of the NYU Child Study Center, eminent child psychiatrist and author, joins Dr. Ruth for a lively discussion on teenage sex. Listeners are invited to call in to talk about intimacy, desire, technique, their inhibitions, fantasies and their partner's desires - as well as their own. No topic is taboo.
Dr. Ruth pioneered the field of media psychology with her radio program "Sexually Speaking" which began in September of 1980 as a fifteen-minute taped show that aired Sunday after midnight. One year later her show became a live, one-hour show on which Dr. Ruth answered call-in questions from listeners, and eventually opened the door for millions of people around the world to talk openly about sex.
The show debuts today, Monday, September 8th from 12 - 2pm ET on Sirius' Doctor Radio (ch 114). Encore broadcasts will air later today at 10pm ET, and again on Saturday, September 13th at 12am and 10pm ET.
