Drudge Report: "Drama" building on Sirius-XM merger

The Drudge Report is, er, reporting that "drama" is building around the Sirius-XM merger.

There's no link or anything specific... just this:

"APPROVED OR DENIED? DRAMA BUILDS AROUND SIRIUS-XM MERGER... DEVELOPING..."

Curious as to exactly what kind of "drama" they're talking about. Stay tuned...

UPDATE: Drudge has removed the posting from his page now. Yay, rumor mongering.

very interesting. Probably bullshit. F Drudge

This merger has taken a year off my life expectancy. Geeeeeez

Merger

Go screw caterpillar face.

Over the last year he has had several XM/Sirius headlines on his page. For some reason he has taken an interest in this merger.

drudge is an asshole....such crazy shit.

he blows a wad when obama beats clinton in a majority black state....but when clinton smoked obama it was an empty drudgereport.

he is so biased its not even funny.,

Not to start a political discussion....but when did Hillary "smoke" obama? Obama received more delegates in Nevada and Hillary only won New Hampshire by about four points. Hillary was ROUTED yesterday, however. By the way, Obama received the majority of the white vote under 30, and only had 9% less of the white vote than Hillary overall....

Oh come on. Hillary upsetting Obama in New Hampshire was a shock to every major new organization and Drudge barely mentioned that fact. You might not like the word "smoked" but you can't deny it was extremely unexpected and his response did not reflect that.

Not to mention Hillary has a huge lead on Obama in almost EVERY state coming up on SUPER TUESDAY! So this "race" could pretty much be over in a week or so. Nobody, including Drudge, report that. Ever see a poll out of California, NY, or any of the other Super Tuesday states?? Pretty much throws cold water on all the Obama-hype!

Yep. We all know that polls are 100% correct. Might as well not even bother to vote.

Personally, I think Matt Drudge needs a radio show on satellite radio. I'd listen. It would give him a great audience. For all I know he doesn't air on satrad does he? He's a news icon in the country. But I doubt he has beaten all other media outlets to the punch on some "SPECIAL" drama.

Also we all know terrestrial radio has government fingers in its pants... but what about the hedgies????

He DOES have a radio show sunday nights, regular and satellite radio (XM), it is a clear channel product. If I recall correctly it might still be on XM165.

What merger? Mel, Mongo has been shitting in my front yard, one more time and Mongo gets kicked in the liver!

JonE, Drudge Report got replaced by Bill Cunningham awhile ago. Drudge left radio to focus more on his website (to report more merger rumors I guess) :D

Drama building for last few months--
You wonder why our leaders in Congress and govt have LOWER approval ratings then the President
Vote out the all the politicians that are in Washington now--Bring in fresh blood---This should have been approved months ago but $$$ and special interests rule broken Washington

Drudge FREQUENTLY posts stories that are "developing", yet never "develop". Don't be surprised if nothing happens today...

"For some reason he has taken an interest in this merger."

Drudge has shown himself to be a Stern fan. He has linked to many Stern Stories, but NOT linked to bad Stern stories.

He may also own some stock

Surprise, surprise...Drudge removed it from their page.

I think he just likes to stir it...

Drudge has pulled the "article headline"...

Drudge usually posts things Hours and sometimes Days in advance of other outlets, anyone who reads the site KNOWS this...maybe he was told something by someone and was expecting more info...when he didnt get it, he took the headline down...like a good outlet would, and he didnt try to sensationalize it any futher than the one-line Unlinked text.

Can we say the same for CNN or the other news outlets? Sheeeeeep!!!

he likes non stories

"DEFIANT: CLINTON BREAKS PLEDGE; CAMPAIGNS IN FLORIDA..."

been on the front page for DAYS

tells you how long its been since I've listened. :-D

What a crazy DOJ/FCC - SIRI/XM mess. I
have waited and waited, but now - I find it hard to stand by a company
(Sirius) for not standing up to these jerks (lawsuit?). The
lengthy mess has allowed other companies to advance, while holding back Sirius
and XM.

No Justice and Not Fair!

DOJ - Make the call !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Even your aluminum foil caps won't save you from this one...
