EminemRapper Eminem will grace his own Sirius XM Radio channel Shade 45 with his presence yet again this year with two uncensored interviews set to air on Saturday and Tuesday.
The iconic rapper will sit down with DJ Whoo Kid on Saturday, October 3rd at 3pm ET, during the G Unit Saturdays program.

Eminem will talk in-depth about his highly-anticipated upcoming album, Relapse 2, his performance at the Voodoo Festival in New Orleans on October 30th and his role in developing the new video game DJ Hero, scheduled to be released on October 27th.

Then on Tuesday, October 6th at 9pm ET, Eminem will speak with Shade 45's DJ Tony Touch as part of the Toca Tuesdays show on Tuesday.

Back in May 2009, Eminem graced Shade 45 with his presence by sitting down with Shade 45's Reef for a three-hour interview. During the interview, Eminem took listeners on a guided tour through the making of the chart-topping album, offered commentary on his return to the music scene while overcoming tragedy, loss and confronting his own personal demons.

Shade 45 (Sirius channel 45 and  XM channel 66) is celebrating its fifth-year on satellite radio, having first debuted in late October, 2004.

This photo screams " I'm a gay white rapper " .

Holy crap! Elvis has made more appearances on his stupid channel than this.

That's okay, I'll go listen to Oprah on her channel...wait, oh, that's right.

Nevermind.

So he has his own channel, but he hasn't shown up in 6 months?! This catastrophic caucasion of corny, crappy quatrain must have graduated from the Orca Winfrey school of punk-chu-ality. He doesn't so much grace Shade 45 as much as he DIS-graces it. I saw him being interviewed several months ago, and he was so excruciatingly monotonous that I had to bail after 3 minutes. I would rather be water boarded than have to listen to this douche bag of dullness for 3 hours!

I just might tune in for a little bit just to see if I can interpret any of the jive ass conversation with "DJ Whoo Kid" (WTF), which I suspect will go down as one of the most inarticulate, unintelligible mano a mano epic throw downs in ebonics history. I jus gots ta sey one thang, America - U BIN PUNKED!!!

Yo Yo Dawn... that be bitchin! I laffed my cracker ass off - ya no whad I'm sayin? Sheeeit. I be hope in deez little white boys keep on buyin my music, yaunerstan, cause dis b slim shady's gravy train and shit. Wid out dare sue port, I b goin from slim shady to... slim & none! Den dey libel 2 fine out I ain't nuttin but Josh Grogan wid a haircut and attitude. Damn. Please god, please don't let dis big scam ever end.

Dat b Groban wid a b, not no g (unit) is wad I b sayin. I spell like I sing - kind da like shit. Word

Goofy. You'd think a guy known for being loud, long-winded and opinionated who has his own national radio platform would be chomping at the bit to rock the mic at all times -- if only to take shots at all the people he thinks have failed to show him the proper respect (which alone could fuel a four-hour daily morning show).

Eminem's channel sucks big time!!!!! I love hip hop but hate one artist channels like this one, playing nothing more than music of Eminem's friends. XM66 RAW was alot much better.

lol...Im not sure about all the hatred for Eminem. SHADE 45 is an artist branded channel. he is not suppose to be on their that much!! What do want him to do host a talk show? wtf? His channel has some of the top dj's and personalities in hip hop...DJ Kay Slay, Tony Touch, Dj Whoo kidd, G-unit, and others...it is a very good channel for Hip hop...Of course, it's not for everyone.....You guys hating there is the OutQ channel for gays, or Elvis, Bruce Springsting....Does Elvis have a show on his channel....or is he officially dead???Artist branded channel are for the artists fans to listen to programming that represent the artist, not to listen to the artist or personality all day....except the Howard Stern channels...His fans are obsessed with him....and arent usuallyh that well rounded..ie..Oprah Radio...is not Oprah Winfrey all day!!!

one would hardly know that it's his channel. look at martha stewart, she's there at least once a week and does specials. even oprah graces sirius xm with a show or two. this guy - he'll just take the money and run. when was the last time you heard him mention sirius? never.

No, Elvis doesn't have a show on his channel, and to the best of my knowledge.... he has been officially declared deceased. My question to you is this: Is Eminem officially dead? Well if he ain't, then based on the scarcity of his lilly white ass in the proximity of the Sirius/XM studios, he is like all the other high salaried "talent" on Sirius/XM; ungrateful, lazy, selfish and greedy. None of them - including Stern, Martha, Oprah, Eminem, Mad Dog, etc. - give a shit about promoting the service. I blame the company more than them; they should all be featured in national ads, commercials, fan greetings/fan fest shows etc. Make these people earn the obscene amount of money they are getting paid!

I want to see some creativity from this company. Some energy. SOME LIFE! Is there any sort of vision whatsoever? Show me, GODDAMN IT!

Ok, I agree with the lack of promotion by the high paid talent of SIRIUS XM. SIRIUS XM should have put that in their contracts. Eminem's contract is for him to have a certain number of minutes on air per year. It's a really small number, 3 or 4 times a year satisfies his contract. SIRIUS or now SIRIUS XM just wanted to use his name. Remember when these high paid contracts were given out SIRIUS and XM compteted with each other. So, SIRIUS wanted to have EMINEM name on hip hop channel so people would choose SIRIUS over XM. He gave them credibility for Hip Hop with his name. As far as them promoting the service...I totally agree! How about the obscene money they pay to professional sports such as baseball. There shoudl be an XM billboard at every stadium for all sports that they broadcast. There should be a commercial spot on Oprahs tv show, etc...Hopefully, with the holiday season, baseball playoffs, and launch of Ipod dock...they will start to invest in promotion. People think the company is broke and about to go bankrupt...advertising can give it respect. Rhapsody has commercials and SIRIUS XM doesnt? wtf?

I think Eminems lack of self promotion is commendable. He just released a new album and he isnt on that channel constantly plugging his label or his product. His music sells on its own. For all we know, he could be an assistant pd for this channel, who knows.

Would it really a wise choice to have Eminem out promoting Siriusxm? Your ebonics point you made earlier was spot on. Who the fuck wants to hear him talk anyway. Howard Stern promotes the fuck out of sirixm, he does fm commercials around holidays and he does Letterman, His face is all over their ads and website. How much more can you get out of a guy everyone hates?? Oprah just added her daily show to sirixm, and their going to play episodes from her archives. If you are a fan of oprah, you know she's on satrad. The same goes for the rest of these "talents", their fans know where they are.

This company needs to put more effort into the music channels. Talk radio has always been geared to a specific audience, usually the older demographic, it appears the music is being programmed for the same demo. Talk radio will only attract so many people, the younger music stations ( alt rock, rap, techno) they seem almost forced. There is no punk channel, no more breakbeats, and there is no real alternative music channel. Lithium is a joke, I can hear that shit anywhere. Faction sucks, they think swearing makes it edgy. What a fucking mess!!

I listened to Eminem on SHADE45 today. I'm not sure if he was having a bad day....But, he showed no personality.....He barely spoke...just gave short answers and he had a group with him that did more talking...he seemed very reclusive....He is a great rapper...but he has yet to show that he is worth listening to on a daily or weekly basis...

Shade 45 sucks a bag of dog dicks... 66 RAW was soooooo much better. Every other song on 66 wasn't Em or G Unit. And that All Out Show is terrible. Al-Qaeda could program this channel better..........

Indeed. The comments you made about the music channels can be summed up with the vacuum cleaner salesman's line -- they all suck. As you pointed out, Lithium, which focuses on a format I have some affinity for, is terrible. My local Clear Channel modern rock station is much better. As you said of Faction, Outlaw Country is programmed for people who think it's cool if the DJ says the "F word." There's no progressive rock, progressive country, or progressive anything.

Eminem definetly one of the best rappers alive

It's great that he's such a fantastic rapper. Now that he has mastered that most intellectual of art forms, perhaps someone could teach him how to talk. It would come in handy when being interviewed by one of his gangsta homies. Better yet, he could learn to talk "black" to his rap fans.... and talk "white" to the rest of us who have good taste and a brain in our heads. Just like Oprah!
