According to multiple sources, the Federal Communications Commission has approved the sale of Clear Channel Communications, Inc. to Bain Capital and Thomas H. Lee Partners for $19.5 billion, reports All Access.
The vote was reportedly 5-0 in favor of the transaction.
If this turns out to be true, the FCC would have taken 386 days to come to this decision.

Wow. At this rate, the merger decision may not occur until June....
Bain Capital? That's Mitt Romney's company.
For $19 billion they could have got Sirius AND XM. I'd even throw in my mother-in-law for free.
