Garmin Zumo 665Garmin has taken the wraps off its latest product line (some info was actually leaked out a couple days ago) at CES, and included in its new offering is the Garmin Zumo 665 GPS for motorcycles.

Riders don't really get too many options available to them in terms of satellite radio, but with the Garmin zumo 665 Portable GPS Navigator, they're getting everything that XM has to offer. And I mean, everything.
The Garmin Zumo 665 gives riders a touchscreen motorcycle GPS that includes an antenna for XM Satellite Radio, XM NavWeather and real-time XM NavTraffic all in one.

Features include:
  • 4.3 inch glove-friendly and sunlight-readable touchscreen display
  • Rugged waterproof housing (resistant to fuel sprays and UV rays)
  • All the XM goodies: XM Radio, XM NavTraffic for real-time traffic and XM NavWeather with NEXRAD radar graphics overlaid on top of your GPS map
  • Standard GXM 40 XM antenna (to receive XM Radio, XM NavTraffic and XM NavWeather)
  • Built-in MP3 player
  • Bluetooth technology to play all audio to your headset or helmet

The Zumo 665 will be available in Spring 2010, and will MSRP for $999.99. You can pre-order the Zumo 665 from Amazon.

I've been thinking about getting one of these for my Buell Ulyses but the current offering doesn't allow you to listen to the xmmusic over bluetooth. Plus the xm Isnt really integrated into the unit so you have to by this antenna assembly that receives the xm. The unit only acts as an interface. If these two issues
are addressEd then I'm there. I could putit on the bike as well in the car without multiple subs.

They had me until they said: "$999.99"

:o(

Bawahahahahahahahaha.

$1k for a GPS/Xm receiver? Really? Wow. Just because it's for a "motorcycle" they are going to double or triple the price?

I was going to pick this up specifically for the XM radio and weather but just found out it is an additional $100/month

I picked one up for my trip and I just love this unit, I have cardo scala G4 headset and I can receive XM via bluetooth with no problems.
