Howard SternSirius Satellite Radio will broadcast an all day-long Howard Stern special featuring the most memorable Beatles-related interviews, cover songs and bits from the past 25 years of The Howard Stern Show.

The special airs Monday, May 28th (Memorial Day) starting at 6am ET on Howard 100 (ch 100) - or for folks on the left-coast, at 6am PT on Howard 101 (ch 101) - with encore broadcasts throughout the day on both channels.

Monday’s broadcast will present uncensored versions of some of the most entertaining moments in Howard Stern show history involving Sir Paul McCartney, Yoko Ono, Ringo Starr, Sean and Julian Lennon, Pete Best and Billy Preston. Howard Stern along with Robin Quivers, Fred Norris, Gary Dell'Abate, Jackie “The Joke Man” Martling, and Vinnie Favale will reflect on these bits throughout the day.

The special will feature cover songs performed live and in-studio by Jon Bon Jovi, Enuff Z Nuff, The Fab Faux and Stone Temple Pilots, plus Howard singing “Blackbird” (classic!) and “Fool on the Hill,” Fred singing “Imagine I’m John Lennon,” and Scott the Engineer singing “With a Little Help from My Friends.”

Cant wait for this and the Jackie special. Gotta love the channels man. Say what ya say about Stern but they work their asses off programming 100 and 101. Always a special or a new crazy show or live stand up from Artie and Dice. Love it

Is Memorial Day when we remember how Stern used to be a relevant talk radio host?

And no I didn't post that 3 times, but it does make it 3x more funny.

ummmm, no it don't.

just 3x more retarded

Aren't O&A on a forced 30 day vacation?

Friggin' tools..

So you idiot pests get replays and best-ofs while we get specials on Monday. I love how brainwashed all you idiots are.

we all know that 202 was just greg and tony with ron and fez with replays.then they added a show on saturday nights after stern came along.100 and 101
are better produced channels than 202

Stupid jabbing back and forth aside, the previous poster makes a point with which I've never agreed.

It would be nice if XM's 202 had more regular specials with 3rd mic people like Patrice, but the slapped together nature of 202's production has always made it more interesting, more honest, and more entertaining.

I could give a crap about having network league production values. It's all about content. Having the O&A and R&F crew muck about like the rest of us fallible humans makes it that much better.

How do stringent/bureaucratic professionalism and high production values instantaneously equate to better output?

It's like comparing a NBC's 'Friends' to Gervais' version of 'The Office' which originally aired on BBC2.

That's not exactly an argument that the typical evangelistic, corporate-phobic, intarnet geek would come out against. In fact it's their bread and butter.

Why do web-savvy Sternites think it suddenly doesn't apply in this case?

I've gotta give the clone fans some credit.

Their heroes' little morning zoo is collapsing around them in a mushroom cloud of failure... yet they STILL have the energy to come here and take their lame and fruitless jabs at the Greatest Radio Personality of Our Generation!

I wonder how they do it. Must be something in the Cumia Kool-Aid. Hoo Hoo, Ramooone! I invented denial!

@Thrawn

Your point is... well... pointless. The H100/H101 appeal is not production, it's CONTENT. Period. Far superior content to ANYTHING you'll EVER hear on XM 202.

Your little snipes about Stern no longer being "relevant talk show host" are nothing but bullshit. Just another fanboyish parroting of 0&A's bitter, jealous, "notice-me-daddy" rants.

Fact is, Stern on Sirius is the best radio out there, it's NOW, and that's why he STILL has millions of fans who listen daily.

:"why he STILL has millions of fans who listen daily."

On Earth 2

There is no appeal to Howard 100 and Howard 101. The Stern Show, Bubba The Love Sponge,Ferrel, and the other garbage that plagues those two channels isn't appealing. Stern Fan Round Table really appealing. I'm a Sirius subcriber and not an Opie & Anthony fan but Howards's channels are indeed garbage.

"Your point is... well... pointless. The H100/H101 appeal is not production, it's CONTENT. Period. Far superior content to ANYTHING you'll EVER hear on XM 202."

Bit of the reverse actually. Your point is pointless. I was responding to an actual comment that was made (and comments that have been made elsewhere) in reference to 100/101 being great because of production values.

Your post seems to be all about stating your opinion as it were fact. If you reread mine, you'll find I never referenced 100/101's quality. My snipe about remembering Howard's relevance is actually nothing but...a joke about him doing replays of his past shows...on Memorial day.

Good to see you can't take a joke at the expense of your lord and savior, but feel comfortable calling others Kool Aid drinkers.

A show about the beatles ummmm I don't get it. Memorial Day is a day to remember the heroes who have fallen and those who still defend our freedoms today. Last I checked the Beatles never served in any armed forces or really ever supported the men and women who did serve.

The Stern fuckos sure seem like the one drinkin a lot more of that Kool Aid. The only difference here is that 0.0 is playing Beatles related stuff, and O & A did regular best of this morning. I'm telling ya this war between the Stern Fuckos and the pests will never end, because it's all in what you like. So instead of yelling about how wonderful 0.0 is and his Beatles special, go back to listening to it and enjoying it which you say you do, but spend so much time here putting others down because they won't kiss the Hoo Hoo ring. Pathetic bunch of assholes.

@Toonhead

Wait, don't 0.0 call their best of ... "Worst Of"? GET IT?? "WORST Of"!! OMFGLOL!!! Those 0.0 guys are just SO wacky!! HAHAHA!!! "Worst Of"!!! Crazy 0.0 bad boys!! What WILL they do next?? [honk honk]
