The Toronto Sun's recent article, Stern can't beam here on radio, explains exactly why Howard Stern won't be carried Sirius Canada when he makes the jump to partner company Sirius Satellite Radio in January. Apparently when Howard had debuted in Canada back in 1997, he said "the French should bend over for me the way they did for Hitler," and that didn't make the Canadian Broadcast Standards Council very happy. As a result of this fallout, it's inevitable that the CRTC would force Sirius Canada to remove Stern from the airwaves.
Thanks David!
