Howard Stern announced on his show today that he’s signed Bubba the Love Sponge. Bubba will be on Sirius Channel 100 and it’s expected that other ‘shock jocks’ will be featured on Sirius 100 as a “haven” for those from terrestrial radio.
Bubba and Stern didn’t get along very well a few years back, so it’s interesting that this has developed. More info as it develops…

UPDATE 2: A Sirius spokesman has confirmed to MediaWeek that Bubba the Love Sponge will be joining Sirius Satellite Radio. No press release yet, but this is our best indication that this is “official” as of yet.

i own both xm and sirius, well, i did until 2 days ago! xm is out of my life anyway! First, they are starting to have advertisements on there commercial free music stations, they seem to be losing all their talent to sirius. So in my opinion, xm better just hope thay arent in the hole before they realize they are on a fast downward spiral, talking about desperation, you know they are desperate when they offer you a continued subscription for $3.95 just to stay with them. No offense against xm, but it go's back to the old saying, you have to spend money to make money!!!!!
