This article by the Hollywood Reporter has additional details on Howard Stern's In Demand deal. Definitely a good read if you didn't catch it over the holiday weekend.
An interesting thing to note is that In Demand won't be covering the Sirius Satellite Radio programming until March 2006. During now and April 1st the cost will be $9.95, until the Sirius programming goes "live" - then the price gets bumped to $13.95. I guess I'll have to officially fall on my sword about my theory that Stern's In Demand deal might canabalize Sirius Satellite Radio subscriptions - they're different markets, with VoD being more of a suplimental product than a replacement - and I'd now bet that Sirius is getting a rev-share deal out of it. Win-win.

SHUT THE FUCK UP ABOUT THE IPHONE APP!
Nobody cares. We have satellite radio. Oh wait, the new Sirius/XM is worse off than the average persons own playlist.
Stern isnt on the app because its about him, about money. He doesnt give a SHIT about you (the fan). If he did Sirius would see revenue from his InDemand channel (which ive heard sucks, from Stern fans).
