Reportedly Don Imus has agreed to settle with CBS for $20 million, and a non disparaging clause, according to the Drudge Report's legal sources.
The move opens the possibility Imus will soon return to the airwaves, reportedly as soon as January. Some wonder whether Imus could be headed to Sirius, since Mel Karmazin, a former boss of Imus, recently told the Fox News Channel he'd hire him.
"The fact that he had been fired wouldn't stop me from having Don work for me again," Karmazin said. "He makes you a lot of money."

Ryan, 1st of all its absolutly disgracefull that a Spamming asswipe has posted here... but Congrats! Spam means you have enough readers for it to be worth it for the spamming freaks.
Now.. on to Imus. Why would he go to Sirius? Cause Mel would Hire him? As if XM would not? As if XM has no deal inplace with CBS? (see O&A deal) As if Sumner Redstone would like to deal with Mel? Drudge report? More like Bilge Report.
My point is that No one knows where Imus will wind up or if he will be back on CBS. All the Speculation will do nothing for Sat Rad.
So is the spam as result of not having to login with TypeKey anymore?
Ugh, I'd rather take the extra 3 seconds to login than have to deal with that crap.
Anyway, I don't doubt Imus would go satellite, but I doubt he'll get hired by either right now because of the impending merger. Besides, just heard this morning that ABC here in NYC is talking with him...
