Jim Cramer's assault continues

Jim Cramer has, once again, used his bully pulpit to criticize the Feds over the protracted delays for the Sirius and XM merger.

This time, he focuses on the Congressmen who came out in opposition to the merger, but who just happen to have received donations from the NAB. The picture you see right there is Cramer raising his eyebrows.

I don't just like this video, I love this video... and it's well worth the 13-minute watch.

He was on Howard a few weeks ago saying about the same stuff.

I love the guy, I DVR him everynight

booyah!!!!

Well when he ranted about the Fed KNOWING NOTHING! They cut the interest rates the following week.

So maybe his rant against the DOJ and FCC will have the same effect.

heh heh heh

hello, if anyone has this video saved. Can they e-mail it to me?

I am glad Cramer did that, now I hope it motivates Congress. However, I'm not holding my breath. Ryan, can you publish the names of those Congress people? I missed them. I wanted to write them, calling them croocked

The prblem with Cramer is, he is a self admitted fan-boy of Sirius, and isn't he a stock holder?

So in the end he would LOVE the merger since he thinks he would make money, and does not care about the XM programming that would be destroyed.

Oh, and why would he care about the nickle and diming price plan that would happen.

New day, Same Challenge: Someone please show me a single market, monopolis merger that actually was good for the consumer?

Ans: No

"New day, Same Challenge: Someone please show me a single market, monopolis merger that actually was good for the consumer?"

This merger is not monopolistic as I have free radio, an iPod and a satellite radio sitting side by side in my car. Nothing affects my choice by having these companies merged. In fact I get more choice by virtue of the fact that he net sum of the channels will be more than I previously had. I don't see how I lose.

Cramer owns no stock. That's why he can rant and rave about stock and get away with it. It would be unethical if he owned the stock and promoted it on his show.

How do we know that Cramer doesn't hold any stock? He doesn't seem to have an easy to find list of his holdings. And considering his past history as both a hedge fund manager and as a commentator, relying on him for openness is a suckers bet. Plus, it's very easy for him to hide his stake in a company through the use of other funds. Not too mention, we don't see if he or other's close to him have contracts or other deals with companies that benefit from his advice. Even something as simple as a Cramer endorsed company buying ads on one of his sites. At least the Congressmen have to report such contributions. Cramer doesn't. In fact, he uses his "journalist" status to hide from all potential oversight.

Bekieve what you waht, I tend to believe the guy who says it.

"How do we know that Cramer doesn't hold any stock? He doesn't seem to have an easy to find list of his holdings."

because its SEC requirements....because he sits on the board of his trust he has to discolse his holdings...its not hard to find out information on them

he does not hold stock as well because of his show....and conflicts...and lawsuits.

Well Jimbo,

I for one appreciated your effort, but note that you only named the low-hanging fruit failing to bust chops at very high levels that you chose to ignore.

In the end, your tirade was six weeks ago and failed to move the ball.

You're better than that!
