John Legend on XM Satellite Radio
Are you an XM subscriber, yet jealous that the Sirius folks got to hear John Legend live the other day? Well turn that frown upside down, because you'll now be able to catch John Legend’s live performance on XM’s The City (ch 67) starting this Saturday (October 28th) at 4pm ET. Encore broadcasts can be found after the jump. Lisa (aka Sexy Chocolate) hosted this special event straight from the Penthouse in The City, where she prepared John Legend's favorite meal-fried chicken and mac-n-cheese, and wheeled out a Baby Grand for him to serenade all her friends.
If you haven't picked up his new CD "Once Again," you can hear a sneak peak of songs from the album performed live as well. Legend will share what started it all, which songs were the most difficult to write and even unearth what he finds to be sexy. Grrr.

this is pure vindication! no .. not that XM got some performenr that I have not heard of. just the fact that a preformer is making the rounds of Sirius and XM shows that sat rad is a ligitimate threat to regular radio and will continue to grow

I just wanted to make a general comment about Orbitcast. I thoroughly believe Orbitcast is the leader in satellite news and always has the freshest content avaialble for visitors. I am fairly new to the whole blogging world, and it has been hard finding solid resources to base my posts on each week. I reference posts and articles from Orbitcast often in my blog, which is about satellite Radio trends, and the future possibilities of satellite. I recently wrote a post about XM's and Sirius' poor press release/ news release efforts, in which I think Orbitcast might be interested. The post features Orbitcast as being better than either XM or Sirius when it comes to information dissemination. Please take a look if you find the time, and let me know what you think. I also encourage other bloggers who read this to help me find more resources/blogs available on the net relating to satellite radio. Thanks again!
