The 3rd annual Kids Place Live Traveling Road Show will kick-off on Sirius XM's Kids Place Live channel starting next Tuesday at the Children's National Medical Center in Washington, D.C. The third annual Kids Place Live Traveling Road Show is a cross-country broadcast tour, in association with Children's Miracle Network, put together in an effort to raise money and awareness for local children's hospitals across the country.
Kids Place Live will broadcast from a different hospital in a different city almost every day from Tuesday, May 26th through Saturday, June 6th on Sirius and XM channel 116.
During the Kids Place Live Traveling Road Show, the channel's team - including "Absolutely Mindy," Kenny Curtis, Jinx and Robbie Schaefer - will speak with kids, families and members of each hospital community about their stories and the role the children's hospitals play in the lives of these families.
Check out photos of the tour bus from the first Traveling Road Show back in 2007.
Additionally, short video "travelogue" segments will also be posted online every day, so watch for those on the Kids Place Live webpages on Sirius' or XM's website.

Judging by that picture, if the people in that photo are the ones that host that station. I don't think I want my kids listening to that channel.
Who? And this is the third annual? Can't wait for the FIFTH so they can really show case some talent!
Dear Ryan,
Thanks for a great article. Any awareness we can bring to the children's hospitals nation wide is always a good thing.
Although I believe we make miracles happen everyday at Cook Children's in Ft. Worth, Tx and would love to keep the name above...we are Cook Children's Medical Center.
The Roadshow just left a few days ago and it was such an incredible experience for our kid's, thier families and our staff. Mindy and Kenny , what can I say? They were awesome! I can't wait to hear how it all turns out.
Thanks again,
Jackie Daulton

Oh, Uncle Paul
THIS STATION SUCKS!!!! BRING BACK KID'S STUFF!!!!
My kid and his friends want to hear music, not these annoying, non-entertaining, non-funny windbags!!!!
FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, JUST PLAY MUSIC...THAT'S WHAT THESE KIDS WANT TO HEAR!!! I pay for satellite radio and then have to plug in my iPod when my kid and his friends are in the car. I HATE KIDS PLACE LIVE. AND, THAT ABSOLUTELY MINDY IS THE MOST ANNOYING-SOUNDING PERSON IN THE WORLD. THE GOVERNMENT COULD USE HER VOICE TO LEGALLY TORTURE TERRORISTS!!!!!
I have just spent 3 years building the "New Childrens Hospital of Pittsburgh" It is simply amazing and it opened May 2nd. Here is a virtual tour.

As far as the channel goes... My boy's liked the kid's music... Can SiXM screw up everything they touch??
Thanks to you all for the work that you are doing for kids! Your shows are fun and are just what kids need! I think the idea of a traveling show for sick children shows how much you truly care for kids!
My son loves to listen to your show everyday...he especially loves Mindy! It is great for children to have a place where they can express themselves. Your music is unique and fun for our entire family to listen to!
Thank you for being such positive role models for children!
