Mancow calls satellite radio a "one night stand"

MancowMancow was quoted in Inside Radio recently, criticizing satellite radio and uncensored content in general.

"Mancow says satellite radio is like a one night stand. He says uncensored content is 'kind of exciting — but you cannot have a substantial relationship with that kind of host.' 'Mancow,' [the creator of 'Drunk Chick Friday'] says the pressure for morning show hosts to push the envelope has been 'a cancer on our business' and he’s renewing his call for a less coarse content on radio."

As Mark Ramsey of Hear 2.0 points out, Mancow calling for "less coarse content" is like taking diet advice from trans fats.

I just find it funny that the guy who publishes a book about free speech is now saying that uncensored content is "kind of exciting." His entire career, until recently, has been based on coarse content.

But to associate satellite radio and its uncensored content with being a "cancer" in the business? C'mon, you need to try harder than that Mancow.

Either way, sounds like yet another attempt at publicity to me.

This is the one fucking toolbag that can unite the Pests & Zombies??

As publicity goes, this is a pretty weak stab, too.

He's better off challenging the virility of presidential candidates.

http://media.putfile.com/stern---mancow

the part about his father is great

I only occasionally see this mutt on Fox from time to time.

Not quite an intellectual powerhouse.

Somebody please photoshop a naked ass by his head and a little bit of poop on his finger.

Sounds to me like someone's a bit jealous. He probably shouldn't have pissed off Opie and Anthony and Howard Stern and he might have been part of the "cancer" and the "one night stand"

Mandouche is just mad that he can't get anyone to listen to his on air content. He used to do all the crazy shock jockey, offend everyone radio. He is a failure the the small market he had. He is now jumping on the censorship bandwagon since the Imus, and Opie & Anthony problems. He thinks if he acts like he cares about what people think, and that nothing will be said that might offend someone while he is on the air, then a major station will pick him up. Satellite radio is great. I pay for uncensored radio. I haven't listened to free radio since 4 years ago when I bought XM.

Seriously, does anybody ever listen to him anymore?

Man who????

This guy is a complete waste. People can say what they want about Stern, Imus, Opie & Anthony (I know all three have there haters) but these guys actually have a fan base and success. This ass has nothing. Why FOX would put him on is unreasonable to me. He only dreams he can be on XM or Sirius.

I thought only girls could be cows? I don't get it :/

Cabbie is a FAG///////!

Cabbie is STILL a FAG///////!

My college radio show has more listeners and affiliates than Mancow. The biggest liar and fraud in the radio world.

Kill yourself.

Ooh, ooh - caption contest!

"Shhhh, I visit rest stops for man ass!"

Hey, Mancow, on the off chance that you're reading this, yeah, I know you're doing the Christian act these days and all, but how would your fans and the nice American folks at Fox News Channel react if they knew you regularly put fake phone callers on the air?

Remember the "gay wedding planner" and the "rabbi who says that Jesus committed suicide by cop (in the form of the Roman soldiers)?"

Uh, I know who played those characters and I know who you booked them through. I even know how much the actor was paid. Now, do you REALLY want that information made public? Maybe you should stop calling the kettle black, Mr. Manpot.

Well as long as I have satellite radio I wont have to listen to him

Actually, the Mancow show is more like a one night stand..one day you hear him on some two bit AM station and the next day he's been replaced by a nose hair infomercial.

Mancow, the definition of a pathetic human being...the TRUE cancer in the radio industry.

"Mancow says satellite radio is like a one night stand. He says uncensored content is 'kind of exciting — but you cannot have a substantial relationship with that kind of host.' 'Mancow,' [the creator of 'Drunk Chick Friday'] says the pressure for morning show hosts to push the envelope has been 'a cancer on our business' and he’s renewing his call for a less coarse content on radio.".... Thus sealing his fate to ever work in the medium, you would think...
