Matisyahu to host Hanukkah on Sirius
American Jewish reggae artist Matisyahu will host the Festival of Lights on Sirius Satellite Radio's Reggae Rhythms (ch 32).
Starting on sundown ET on December 15th, and airing through sundown ET on December 23rd, the Festival of Lights is a special Sirius Hanukkah celebration.
Tune in as Matisyahu will share facts and his thoughts about this holy time of year several times a day throughout the eight-day Hanukkah holiday.

Not as good as Radio Hanukkah but a step in the right direction. It is nice to see that Hanukkah will have a place on Sirius.

Funny...Hanukkah starts at sundown on the 16th, not the 15th! Mel, of all people, should have gotten that one right.

Note that Matisyahu will also participate in Radio Hanukkah's programming. Not sure to what extent, but something to note.

Sorry iband but Hanukkah begins this year at sundown on 24 Kislev, 5767 (Gregorian calendar date 15 December, 2006). The first DAY of Hanukkah is on the 25 Kislev (16 December) but the festivities start with the first candle lighting not the first sunrise.
