Michelle Obama, wife of the presumptive Democratic party Presidential nominee Senator Barack Obama, will be the featured guest on XM Satellite Radio's "Oprah & Friends" channel, next Monday.The interview with Michelle Obama will air on "The Gayle King Show" just hours in advance of her opening night address at the 2008 Democratic Convention, and will kick off King's week of live broadcasts direct from Denver.
"The Gayle King Show" will broadcast live from the Denver all week, and will provide interviews with a mix of celebrities and political players, including producer and Black Eyed Peas front-man will.i.am, Rep. James Clyburn (SC), MSNBC's Rachel Maddow, Rep. Sheila Jackson-Lee (TX), and political strategist Donna Brazile, among others.
Live broadcasts of "The Gayle King Show" will air on XM's "Oprah & Friends" channel (ch 156) the week of August 25th starting with the Michelle Obama interview at 2pm ET, and will air encores broadcasts throughout the day.
Gayle King's interview with Michelle Obama, as well as other King interviews during the Democratic Convention week, will also air on XM's presidential election news channel POTUS '08 (ch 130).
