Both XM and SIRIUS have announced that additional airplay on their channels will be impacting the Billboard Radio Monitor. Originally, only SIRIUS Hits 1 and XM Top 20 on 20 were to be included the Mainstream Top 40 Chart, but now more channels will be included.
Sirius reports that five Sirius music channels (The Spectrum, Octane, Alt Nation, Hot Jamz and Heart & Soul) will now impact Billboard Radio Monitor charts (Triple-A, Active Rock, Modern Rock, R&B/Hip-Hop, and Adult R&B respectively).
XM reports that four XM channels (MIX, Ethel, Squizz, and The City) will contribute airplay data to Billboard Radio Monitor Radio Panels (Adult Top 40, Modern Rock, Active Rock and R&B/Hip-Hop Charts respectively).
