Oh look, here's another device that allows you to record AM/FM radio and then upload the recordings to your PC.
The Pogo Radio YourWay LX not only let's you record à la carte, but also lets you schedule recordings - up to 10 events - for when you're not around. Up to 8.5 hours can be saved in MP3 format even. All for "only" $199.95.
Funny thing is that the Inno doesn't let you copy the songs to your PC... unless you pay for them (which, to me, might be considered a good thing to the record industry). So why doesn't the RIAA take issue with the Pogo Radio YourWay? Oh right, because it's ripping free radio... and I guess that's ok.

Thanks Russell!

"So why doesn't the RIAA take issue with the Pogo Radio YourWay?"
Cause the RIAA are mobsters...they stink!
Does XM still have commercials on some of their music stations? If they do, wouldn't that make them no different from a regular radio station combined with a cable TV provider because...
1) Terrestial (Testicle) Radio makes a deal with the listener: "Listen to ads, and we'll give you music, oh and you can get a tape recorder and record all you want for your own personal use."
2) Cable TV picks up local stations, like CBS affiliated, for free. They're just charging for the service of bringing them to you.
Of course this banter is 100% retarded, I know that. Ultimately I think they're suffer a few suits like this one, probably win every one, and then XM and Sirius will spin off their content-creating wings. You'll have company A, Sirius Programming, selling shows to Company B, Sirius Satellite.
This, of course, could me XM and Sirius both carrying common programming, like Satellite TV providers do.
ok.. now this one is avalable in the US and according to the specs
"Download podcast MP3 files from the internet or use the "line-in" jack to convert any audio to an MP3. Just for fun, we converted our LP's with the TEAC Record & CD Player. You can even convert your entire CD library into MP3’s and experience the freedom to carry them with you. The Radio YourWay LX has excellent fidelity with built-in EQ options.
So with a "line out" from my Sportster or SkyFi or roady I can put Sirius or XM right in to an MP3 file and this will be fully transferable, downloadable, emailable, piratable, and FREE. HELLO RIAA and NAB ... where is the law suit? Or is this covered under the home audio recording act? and if so... how the hell is the INNO different?
Just insane...is their anything we can do to at least point out the double standard that's going on? I just constantly see satellite radio getting screwed and I can't help but believe that it's not over yet. The worst is yet to come.
The real reason is, of course, that the law makes a distinction between DIGITAL radio broadcasts (like SDARS), and ANALOG radio broadcasts (like this crap). It's dumb, but it's the way the law is...
Now, can I connect a HD tuner to it?
Wow...talking about IPOD killers by the way. Record and convert all for free. Still you only get FM content
Guy #1: "Hey, I'm recording FM to MP3, is that OK?"
RIAA: "We don't care."
Guy #2: "Hey, I'm recording satellite radio to my player, is that OK?"
RIAA: "NO, WE WILL BRING YOU TO COURT IF YOU HIT THAT RECORD BUTTON."
Radio AV does this same thing digitally via the radio streams for a fraction of the price
