Closing Arguments debate on XMMTV and MySpace are collaborating to bring a next-gen Presidential Debate targeting younger audiences to the voting masses, and it will be aired this Saturday on XM Satellite Radio.

The event, entitled "Closing Arguments: A Presidential Super Dialogue," will offer candidates a final opportunity to actively engage the coveted youth voting bloc just before Super Tuesday.

Bringing together Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton, Ron Paul and Mike Huckabee - "Closing Arguments" take place live this Saturday, February 2nd at 6pm ET on-air, online, radio and mobile.
John McCain and Mitt Romney were also invited to participate in the event, but at this point it's unlikely they'll participate.

Not only will it be broadcast live on MTV, MTV2, and MTV Tr3s, but it will be streamed online on MySpace, streamed live on mobile devices via MTV Mobile, and will be broadcast on XM Satellite Radio's POTUS '08 (ch 130).

So if you're stuck in your car on Saturday night, and want to check out the MySpace/MTV media circus event, go ahead and tune to POTUS for a healthy dose of political mud slinging.

I believe in change. Ron Paul 2008.

Ron Paul is by far the best candidate. Obama and Hillary and McCain and Romney are essentially the same.

Ron Paul doesn't believe in evolution.

Sorry, but that's enough for me. Someone who denies scientific fact is not worthy of being in the White House.

McCain and Romney didn't reply because they know better than to deal with the liberal MTV.

Obama 08! Change We Can Believe In!

"McCain and Romney didn't reply because they know better than to deal with the liberal MTV."

oh was that it?way to avoid the youth vote!

lets face it,i have a better shot at becoming prez than a Republican does this election

Yeah, cause the dems are doing such a great job in Congress...

>Obama 08! Change We Can Believe In!

He has 22 lobbyists but decries them in commercials. He speaks in broad, general themes than most can agree with - but contains as much substance as any other bought and paid for politician. DON'T BELIEVE THE HYPE.

Most polls show 60-70% of Americans want us out of Iraq. Barack Hussein Obama will get us out in 2012, but isn't against an aggressive strike on Iran. He will not change our foreign policy. Will he repeal the Patriot Act?

>lets face it,i have a better shot at becoming prez than a Republican does this election

You're right, it's why the military industrial complex has been funding Hillary and Barack's campaigns - they expect a Democrat to win. The ONLY Republican with even a shot would be Ron Paul, he regularly beats Hillary in open straw polls. He'll likely do very well in the Maine Caucus this weekend but the media blackout of his campaign makes it an even harder battle. Ron Paul wasn't originally invited to this MySpace / MTV thing - even though Hilary won the MySpace primary and Ron Paul won on the Republican side. His supporters got MTV to invite him after the diss.

The Republicans obviously WANT to lose if they are all flocking to McCain. I have nothing to lose so I will vote in the Primary for Ron Paul since everyone else is a war-monger or socialist.

>Ron Paul doesn't believe in evolution.

That statement of his bothers me a bit but it could be taken out of context. In the sense that I believe he his right in most every other way, and he genuinely seems honest with the right intentions - I fully support his candidacy. I know by his other statements that he believes in an individuals right to live their own lives and believe as they wish. I am realistic about the odds, but at a minimum I don't have to vote for the lessor of two evils for once......

Ron Paul 2008!

all apologys,i thought it was a presidential election this year

Ron Paul is a cunt.
No disrespect

> Ron Paul is a cunt.
> No disrespect

I was really hoping the boys, who criticize the mainstream media would see the light on Paul. Anthony's too much of a neo-con, and they pretty much eat up what they are spoon-fed. Especially since many "friends of the show" (Joe Rogan, Penn Jillette, John Mayer, etc.) have spoken positively of him and many fans are supporters.

With a statement like this "Let's be perfectly clear: the federal government has no business regulating speech in any way." - it's no wonder Howard Stern has finally discovered him. I'm not a Howard fan but I give him respect for using his head on this one. Jay Leno has been good to Dr. Paul too.

the reference of two hacks in there mid-40's as "boys" sets off major deuche chills

P.O.T.U.S. rocks! Go OBAMA!!!

"the coveted youth voting bloc"

You mean both of them? Youth are NOT a coveted voting bloc, priimarily because they don't vote. Everybody likes to reach out to them and make a token effort (like this one), but no one has found a way to mobilize the 18-24 voters. You might remember in 2004 when Rep. Rangel and his friends tried to get this bloc to vote for Kerry under the ruse that Bush was going to reinstate the draft right after the election; no noticible impact.
